When Mr. West spit that I first thought, okay, that was a hot line.

Next time: it was actually pretty clever, weaving his affinity for fashion with his signature bravado.

Finally: it dawned on me that, as one of the biggest tastemakers of his day, the man in the pink polos (remember those?) doesn’t get enough credit in the revival of #Ivystyle , perhaps #Americana in general.  I actually miss that style era of his.

Perhaps Ralph, MB, Tommy, et al owe Yeezy royalties for making em go gorillas over their stuff…
